Commercial Moving Services — Your Business Can’t Afford Downtime

Office relocations, retail moves, and commercial equipment transport — executed on your timeline, around your operations, with zero tolerance for delays.

What's Included

Everything you need for a stress-free Commercial move.

Every hour your business is offline during a move is revenue lost, productivity gone, and clients left waiting. That’s why commercial moves demand a level of planning and precision that residential moves simply don’t.

We coordinate with your operations team, your IT department, and your building management to execute your relocation on a timeline that keeps your business running. Nights, weekends, phased moves — whatever your operations require.

Dedicated Project Manager

Commercial moves get a project manager, not just a coordinator. They build a detailed move plan, coordinate with your facilities team, and manage every phase of the relocation from the first walkthrough to the last desk placement.

Carefully Selected Commercial Carriers

We assign carriers experienced in commercial relocations — not residential movers trying to figure out server racks. Your carrier knows how to handle office furniture systems, IT infrastructure, and specialized equipment.

Clear, Upfront Pricing

Your commercial estimate covers labor, equipment, transit, and installation. We itemize everything so your accounting department gets a clean invoice with no surprise line items after the fact.

Flexible Scheduling Around Your Operations

Nights, weekends, phased moves over multiple weeks — your relocation happens on your schedule. We work around your business hours so your employees show up Monday morning to a fully operational new space.

Direct Communication & Milestone Updates

Your project manager provides daily progress reports during multi-day moves. Your leadership team stays informed without having to chase anyone down for status updates.

Commercial Liability Coverage

Commercial moves involve expensive equipment. Our carriers carry commercial cargo insurance with higher coverage limits than standard residential moves. We can arrange additional coverage for high-value IT equipment and specialized machinery.

What to Expect

Four phases. Zero surprises.

Step 01

Site Survey & Move Planning

Your project manager conducts a walkthrough of your current and new space. They map out furniture placement, identify IT disconnection and reconnection requirements, and build a phased move timeline that minimizes operational disruption.

Step 02

Pre-Move Logistics Coordination

We coordinate with building management at both locations for elevator reservations, loading dock access, and parking permits. Your IT team gets a disconnection checklist. Employees get labeled moving boxes and a clear timeline.

Step 03

Execution & Transit

The carrier arrives according to the move plan. Office furniture is disassembled, labeled, and loaded systematically. IT equipment is handled by specialists. Everything is tracked on the move manifest. Your project manager is on-site supervising.

Step 04

Installation & Operational Handoff

At your new location, furniture is reassembled and placed per the floor plan. IT equipment is positioned for reconnection. Your project manager does a final walkthrough with your facilities team and hands off a completion report.

Prep Checklist

How to prepare for a commercial move.

Six things our coordinators tell every client. Do these before pickup day and your move will go a lot smoother.

01

Declutter before you pack

The less you move, the less you pay. Donate, sell, or toss what you no longer need.

02

Inventory high-value items

Create a detailed list of valuables with photos and serial numbers for insurance.

03

Photo electronics setups

Snap pictures of cable layouts before disconnecting so reassembly is painless.

04

Pack an essentials box

Toiletries, medications, chargers, and key documents you'll need on arrival.

05

Confirm truck access

Make sure both addresses are accessible for a moving truck — narrow streets, low bridges, etc.

06

Arrange parking permits

In dense cities, secure loading zones in advance at both pickup and delivery.

FAQs

Commercial Moving Questions, answered.

It depends on office size and complexity. A small office (10-20 employees) can often be moved in a single weekend. Mid-size offices (50-100 employees) may require a phased approach over 1-2 weekends. Large corporate relocations (200+ employees) are typically executed in phases over 2-4 weeks. Your project manager builds the timeline during the site survey.

Yes. We assign carriers with dedicated IT equipment handling experience. Servers, switches, patch panels, and UPS systems are disconnected, labeled, packed in anti-static materials, and transported in climate-appropriate conditions. We coordinate with your IT team on both the disconnection and reconnection timeline.

Commercial carriers have experience disassembling and reassembling all major office furniture systems including Herman Miller, Steelcase, Haworth, and Knoll. Hardware is bagged and labeled by workstation. Panels are padded and transported upright. Everything is reinstalled per your new floor plan.

Our project manager coordinates with building management at both your current and new location. This includes reserving freight elevators, securing loading dock time slots, arranging after-hours access, and ensuring compliance with any building-specific move-in/move-out rules. You won’t get hit with a building fine because someone forgot to reserve the elevator.

We plan for this regularly. Holiday weekends, overnight moves, and phased weekend relocations are standard for commercial clients. Carrier availability may be more limited on major holidays, so we recommend booking 6-8 weeks in advance for holiday-weekend moves.
